It has come to our attention that our POS SYSTEM terminals at our STORE NAME locations are incompatible with Coin, a connected card-sized payment device holds credit, debit, and loyalty cards.
We have been in contact with Coin representatives about Coin’s compatibility and have learned that the reason for Coin and POS SYSTEM’s incompatibility is due to our terminal’s require Track 1 data to process transactions. Coin’s dynamic stripe data only transmits the more common Track 2 data.
We have had many customers with Coin devices at our stores and have been unable to accept their payments due to our terminal settings. Can you please help us change from requiring Track 1 data to accepting Track 2, so that we can increase compatibility and provide a better user experience for our patrons?
